New Brighton Seafront

Designed in a multi-disciplinary team, this project included design of external spaces, pedestrian routes, soft and hardscape design. The key features are a playground and hot pools which will function as a catalyst for revitalising the town centre. The playground consists of splash pools, Waka, and numerous play objects and is located adjacent to the sand dunes and ocean. Several pools, when constructed, will allow the public to enjoy hot saltwater bathing in a coastal environment.
