Hanmer Thermal Pools

This is one of New Zealand’s most iconic attractions, with over 600,000 visitors each year. Designed as a thermal alpine wonderland, there are several free-formed pools and streams edged with rocks and native planting that reflect an alpine setting. Tawny coloured paving, bridge beams, waterfalls and shade structures complete the landscape elements.
