Mt Cook National Park

Mt Cook is New Zealand’s premier National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have been involved in a long term Landscape Masterplanning and urban design exercise to carefully integrate development into the village at this sensitive site. The visitor centre is the central element for information about the park. The carpark, garden and entrance areas were designed with indigenous plants, local stones and large rocks, timber and exposed aggregate pathways. The northern garden focuses on the view to the famed peak of Mount Cook.
